I support Workout for Water...
... to help change the world for thousands of children. The funds we raise will help UNICEF to complete the Lega and Yelam Gej multi-village solar-powered water systems in the Amhara Region of Ethiopia.
As part of the Stanley Bay Dads Training Squad I am going to do a special workout with the team lead by Glen Ostergaard:
On Sunday 29 September 9a.m. we will carry 20-litre jerry cans filled with water on a 12km course around the natural environment of Stanley Bay and Devonport including the active volcanoe cones of North Head and Mount Victoria. It will be a couple of hours to experience at least a bit what kids in Ethiopia go through every day to collect water.
I’ll carry that jerry can as far as I can - so some kids don’t have to. And you can fundraise with us and donate now, no matter if it’s a little or a lot:

I have two kids myself and never in their lives they had to be concerned about when, how or where to get clean water from to drink. I want my money to help kids who were born into a far more difficult environment.
